The taxing jurisdictions (county, cities, schools, hospital districts, and water districts) determine your tax burden based upon the tax rates they adopt to fund their operating budgets. We have had a blessing box outside of City Hall for about a year. The original donated box has served us well for almost a year, but it was now time to expand our capacity.
