Accepting pre-K through high school. We will not be gathering together this year for activities, but we will have individual packets available to those who register for curbside pick-up on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 11am-3pm. Each packet includes different activities each week such as crafts, coloring pages, books to keep, bookmarks, a reading log, and suggested web links for more fun & learning. If you are not available for a specific week for curbside pickup, please let us know ahead of time. Packets will be made available for pickup beginning Tuesday, June 9th. Library Open for Drive-Thru Service June 2, 2020!

Great News for Library Patrons:  The Lucille Teague Community Library will begin operating a drive-thru service beginning June 2, 2020. Simply browse our online catalog and reserve your selections, or call 903-546-6250 to leave a detailed message. Be sure to leave a phone number we can call when your bag is ready. Pick up times will be 11 AM – 3 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays. No patrons will be allowed in the building. All returns must be placed in the box outside. We look forward to serving you again. Tom Bean’s City Hall and Public Library will remain physically closed to the public until May 18th as of now. However, city staff are still working to safely serve our citizens and businesses. We are doing business as it has been done for the past three weeks. County Announces New Election Dates

Important election news shared by Grayson County Election Administration source: Facebook 4/13/2020 Governor Abbott has recently issued proclamations that move election dates in the State of Texas due to COVID-19. The city and school elections have been moved from May 2, 2020 to November 3, 2020 and they will be held jointly with the general election of Federal, State and County offices. The Democratic and Republican Primary Runoff elections will move from May 26, 2020 and will now be held statewide on July 14, 2020. In Grayson County, there will only be a Democratic Primary Runoff on July 14th. The …

City Elections Postponed until November in Emergency Meeting; Audio File Available

The Mayor called an emergency session to extend the Declaration of Disaster, to cancel the regularly Scheduled April City Council meeting, and to act upon the Secretary of State’s Election Advisory that we must take action to postpone the election until November immediately. This meeting was held by Zoom/teleconference to comply with social distancing requirements.
